I'd like to think I'm equipped for doing both. Doing only one of them makes me feel incomplete.Not incomplete but lets say imbalanced.

What goes on in my mind before I draw these?
A sort of love and liking for the object, a kind of greed for its folds. I really like the curvy 3-d-ness of objects and in my sketch I want to get that with simple lines.

As far as creating a subject.. sometimes I do create a subject but these sketches are more spontaneous doodles spreading from one thing to another.

These sketches are brilliant....I love the energy and chemistry between the different elements in the sketch...I would love to know what goes on in your mind before the pen hits the paper...do u create a subject for the sketch after you draw it or do u decide on a subject and then sketch accordingly?....Are you a graphic designer? I mean professionally...
